The seed is harvested in late July, dried, cleaned and stored in our purpose built grain store to keep it in perfect condition until pressing. Our cold pressing method is a traditional technique which gently squeezes the oil from the seeds. This gentle process ensures the full flavour and characteristic of the oil is preserved. Our oil is then filtered and bottled on the farm. Absolutely nothing is added during the process. The waste seed after pressing is fed to our Aberdeen Angus which is sold through our farm shop. Nothing is wasted!
