Further Information

Whole Hemp Seeds are an incredible source of protein, a complete protein in fact! Which makes this type of protein easily digestible.

Containing all the essential amino acids. Holds the perfect ratio of omega 3 & 6, makings these lovely seeds a great vegan alternative to oily fish. This makes these mighty seeds good for our brains and even our hearts, all while helping to lubricate our joints at the same time.

Whole hemp seeds contain added fibre found in the shell. Three tablespoon serving of hemp seeds provides one gram of dietary fibre. Fibre feeds the good bacteria in your gut microbiome. Why does this matter? Evidence shows that much of our overall health outcomes, including immune function, starts in the gut. Fibre also helps prevent and alleviate constipation, promoting bowel regularity.

Rich in vitamins & minerals such as vitamin E, calcium, potassium, iron, manganese & zinc.

It’s amazing how much nutrition one tiny seed can contain.

Seeds of Hope

These seeds are illegal for you to grow, it’s even illegal to sprout them! Hemp seeds can only be grown in the UK with an industrial licence for use as seed and fibre. Hemp is part of the Cannabis species, though with trace levels THC. Should hemp be more accessible rather than jumping through this strict legislative hoops, we ask?

When you buy from us, you’re directly supporting UK farmers who have cultivated this product. You become an integral part of the food sovereignty movement. Together, we can create a just and local food hemp source.

Our hemp plants are UK-grown on organic certified farmland without the use of any chemicals. Hemp is a bio-accumulator which means it draws elements from the soil, it’s incredibly important to only consume certified organic hemp produce to ensure its quality and health benefits.
